The following positions are open for election for 2017. There are no incumbents for the president-elect and vice-president positions.  There is one incumbent for the delegate positions.

Get Ready to Vote! 

The 2017 International ACAC Elections will open in March.  We encourage members to review the information below regarding your voting status so you will be ready to cast your ballots.

International ACAC voting members fall into two categories: those who are eligible to vote for officer positions and those who are eligible to vote for officer positions and NACAC delegate positions.

Category 1: Members who will vote for officer positions only are those members who are voting members of International ACAC but not NACAC.  To verify your eligibility to vote for officer positions:

Category 2:  Members who will vote for officer positions and for NACAC delegate positions are voting members of both International ACAC and voting members of NACAC who have designated International ACAC as their affiliate.  To verify your eligibility to vote for delegates and officers:

  • Confirm your International ACAC voting status as outlined above.
  • Confirm your NACAC voting status – International ACAC must be your designated affiliate.  Follow these six steps to verify or update your NACAC member profile:
    1.    Go the NACAC website and log in to your member account.
    2.    Choose “Edit Profile” located at the top of the page.
    3.    Select “Edit My Profile” on the left menu.
    4.    Scroll down to the “Demographics” section 
    5.    Review your “Regional Affiliate” assignment – update to International
    6.    Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save.” 
  • The deadline to update your NACAC voting status is March 8th.

NOT A MEMBER OF NACAC BUT WANT TO BE ABLE TO VOTE FOR DELEGATE POSITIONS? 

Please visit NACAC’s website and submit your member application.
NACAC Membership must be approved by NACAC by March 8th in order to vote in our 2017 elections.

Voter Eligibility

Voting Status

1. Eligibility for voting membership and the privileges of voting membership are outlined in the International ACAC bylaws.

2. Voting membership is extended to:

a. Institutional members located outside of the United States and its territories.

b. Institutional members located within the United States who

i. perform the majority of their duties outside of the United States and its territories.

ii. are not voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

c. Organizational members employed by non-profit organizations located outside of the United States and its territories.

d. Organizational members employed by non-profit organizations within the United States who

i. perform the majority of their duties outside of the United States and its territories.

ii. are not voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

e. Individual members located outside of the United States and its territories.

f. Individual members located within the United States who

i. perform the majority of their duties outside of the United States and its territories.

ii. are not voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

g. Retired members who are not voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

3. Non-voting membership is extended to:

a. Institutional members located within the United States who perform the majority of their duties inside of the United States and its territories or are voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

b. Organizational members employed by non-profit organizations within the United States who perform the majority of their duties inside of the United States and its territories or are voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

c. Organizational members employed by for-profit organizations.

d. Individual members located within the United States who perform the majority of their duties inside the United States and its territories or are voting members of another NACAC affiliate.

4. Members in voting-eligible categories will be asked to indicate their personal voting eligibility during the application and renewal process.
